MotherProduct Week: Day 2
Because it's Friday, 50% off the candle to end all candles, plus you have an excellent chance of winning the worlds smallest buggy board.
Hi. Me again! Happy Friday, and day 2 of MotherProduct week.
I sincerely hope I’m not coming across too spammy with a daily email of offers, but there’s nothing not to love about excellent free things, or money off other amazing things (I think, anyway), so I’m taking the stance that if I’d be happy to get this message, then hopefully you will too. Normal service will resume next week…
But for today -
1.
Buggy Boarding.
The Issue: I’d been warned of horror back injury stories from pushing a toddler on a buggyboard, having to unnaturally arch right over so you don’t boot her off with every step. But I also have a child who (like all other children) makes me carry her damn scooter about five minutes into any journey. Or insists on a sit down protest at having to walk to nursery. Or stops every two seconds to pick up a conker. Ooh! Another one mummy that one is PERFECT!
The MotherProduct: Prepello Buggy Board, €95
I found Prepello from manic google searching, it’s not so readily available in the UK (you have to pay in Euros) but I bought it because it looked excellent. Hassle-free delivery, arrived within 4 days, is indeed excellent. It claims to be the worlds smallest buggy board, and it is certainly very narrow - like a scooter without the handlebar, which means you can have your child off to one side and still walk as normal. It detaches by just hooking off, then chuck it in the pram basket and it takes up barely any space in there, either. Is genius. We rebranded the practice as ‘skateboarding’ which makes it so much fun that her friends want to do it at the same time (not advisable, but cute nonetheless).
I loved it SO much that when my (idiot) husband left it in the back of a taxi (it is so small he forgot it was there) I immediately panicked and replaced it. And raved about it on IG - naturally - and now Prepello and I are basically on first name terms. So much so that they’ve very kindly offered to gift a board to one of you.
Before you enter, pls check your pram is compatible HERE. (Won’t fit a Yoyo Babyzen for example, but is a dream on my Nuna Mixx). Then just drop a note, any note, on the chat below and I’ll pick a winner at random next Thursday 26th October.

Everything is better by candlelight
The Issue: 80% of a candle’s life is lived unlit. That means having one that is as nice to look at as it is to light is imperative, IMHO. I actually created this brand in 2017 in my kitchen. Plus, everything is better by candlelight. Room ambience, batheing, hosting etc.
The Motherproduct: No.22 Candle, £40
To know me is to know that I am obsessed with knitwear. It's a source of ultimate comfort, so was the natural basis for my candle design, and the starting point for the scent collection. My fragrances have taken inspiration from, and therefore have a natural place in the world I created them for: home.
I obviously rate them because I made them! But so did Liberty who launched them first - that’s how I got to know the team I ended up working with in the end), followed by Net-A-Porter, Harvey Nichols and The Conran Shop.
